    Hi folks,

Apologies if this appears a silly question but it's been a long day. Is MachForm a hosted solution? I mean, if I create a MachForm and then embed the resultant code on a web page on my webhost server, does the form reside on my web-host server or are customers redirected from my webserver to another server e.g. http://www.appnitro.com/forms/view.php?id=7 to complete the form before they are redirected to my site?

I appreciate all your help in advance.

    Cheers.

    Pete.

  2. Hi Pete,

No, MachForm is not a hosted solution.
You will need to install MachForm on your own server, using your own database.

So you will have full control over your forms.

  3. Hello all,
Sort of a follow up to this question since I am fairly new to MySQL & PHP.
Since MachForm is installed on our own server - does this mean I can use it for internal purposes only as well.
ie: I've installed WAMP on a local pc (back office) and have other pc (front end) pointing to it for data retrieval. Can I use MachForm to create various data entry forms which customers fill out in the front end and have the data stored in the mysql database or will I be required to use my web page for MachForm to function?

  4. As long as your front end PC is able to connect to your back office PC, then yes you can use MachForm for that purpose.
