Requested Features

Just tired MachForm after using Quixforms and must say that this is really a fine piece of software. However before I make a complete transistion, there a few options missing. Of the below features, could you please advise if these are in the pipeline or possible to implement in the near future.

    1. Dependent fields: as the name suggests, either hidden or grayed out fields which become available once a user selects a specific answer.

    2. Text area option: where this is just some text which the form creator inputs so that that user may read as part of the form. For example terms and conditions which the user needs to read. Same to the 'section break', but without the break.

    3. PHP includes: Expansion of the above allowing the user the option to have an external file which can be read as part of the form. This may be even apply to the guidelines for the user section for the forms.

    4. I agree or accept checkbox: I know that this can be achieved without having a title, however if I make the field required, the asterix appears above with no text next to it.

    5. Multipage forms (as has already been suggested): self explanatory

    6. Option to have the question next to answer: As opposed to above the answer to cut down size of the form.

    7. Button to print the 'Review Form': simple button for either print to PDF or print to their local printer.

I know there a quite a few feature requests, but I believe that these additions will really complliment the existing version.

    Thanks.

  2. Hi there,

Thank you for the detailed requests.
It's great to hear so many ideas for MachForm.

While we can't promise to implement any of those feature requests, all requests will be entered into our tracker system and being reviewed for development.

Feature which is needed by most people and feasible to implement, most likely has greater chance to be implemented.

    Thanks again.
