Preinstallation Check failure

    Hi, after I set up everything properly, the preinstallation check failed with 2 warnings on top of the page:

    Warning: mysql_get_server_info() [function.mysql-get-server-info]: Access denied for user '********'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/********/public_html/machform/installer.php on line 147

    Warning: mysql_get_server_info() [function.mysql-get-server-info]: A link to the server could not be established in /home/********/public_html/machform/installer.php on line 147

    There is no mention of having to input a password into installer.php in the installation guide, so how do I resolve this?

    tick: PHP Version >= 4.3.0
    cross: MySQL Version >= 4.1.0
    cross: Correct User and Password for MySQLAccess denied for user 'mach1'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
    cross: Establishing a Connection to Database [machformdatabase]Unable to connect to MySQL
    tick: Writable Data Folder [./data]

    It seems you have database connection problem, try to make sure "mach1" user have permission/privileges to "machformdatabase" database.

    nvm, i committed some newbie mistake. i didn't realise server name is appended to the db name when creating the db, worked fine after that. Thanks anyway.
