line breaks within section breaks

(12 posts)

  1. First: I love this software!

Next: Is there an easy way to insert line breaks within section breaks? I've tried html tags in the section breaks for formatting, but they seem to be hit and miss. I would really like to be able to do simple text formatting in the section breaks (including increase font size)

And then: Future features. I would love to be able to put "small" fields side by side. Some forms end up being very loooong. I would also love to see a credit card field block put together (like the address block).

  2. Hi there,

You can use <br /> to insert line break. However, you can only save it once.
Currently, it's being stripped if you try to save them and edit it again.

This weird behaviour should be fixed for the next version. sorry for this!

I suggest to prepare the whole content for your section break using any HTML editor. When you are done, simply insert the final HTML tags there.

  4. This works great for me, but if I forget and touch these fields again, I lose them all. Has this been worked out yet?

Hi, I tried working this out and found that simple <p>your text</p> tag works and so does <br> for line break. Can this formatting be included in the main template files rather than adding the code in each form?

  7. As of version 2.2 (May 15, 2009), this has been fixed. No need to put <br> for linebreak.
If you are using older version, go to member area and download the latest package.

Update your "includes/view-functions.php" file with the new one.

Hi Yuniar, i tried upgrading. Setup checks and lists the following error:

    Checking Installed Version
Your installation already has the most recent version (Version 2).

I know i am still running the old versions 2.1.

  9. No need to run the installer script. Simply update your current files with the new files.
