  1. Can someone give me some advice please. I purchased MachForm this morning, created my database, edited my config.php, sent the files over FTP to my server but the installer won't work.

    I get the error messages on the Pre-Installation Checklist:

    PHP Version >= 4.3.0
    MySQL Version >= 4.1.0
    Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)
    Unable to connect to MySQL

    Our site is hosted on GoDaddy.com and I am wondering if this is the problem or has anyone else had trouble if their site is hosted on GoDaddy.com. I have verified all the information and it seems to be correct so I am lost.....

    Any advice would be great!

  2. I just contacted GoDaddy and one of our problems is the server where our domain resided. It was an older Windows Server that did not allow PHP. They are migrating our account to a Linux server which does run PHP in the latest versions. This should take 24 hours to complete.

  3. I purchased MachForm two days ago, created my database, edited my config.php, sent the files over FTP to my server but the installer say's:
    X MySQL Version >= 4.1.0
    While my ihp has MySQL client version: 5.0.51a
    In my opinion the software must work on never versions too right?

    Earlier I tried to install the software on an other server that has MySQL V 3.23.58
    Is there anyway I can get a patch for this problem too? (my ihp won't upgrade) :(

    thanks in advance, Loek Scholing

  4. look1st -- can you let me know the complete error message you received on the installed page?

    Most likely, this is due to incorrect database hostname or incorrect user/password, not the version. MachForm should work just fine with MySQL 5.

    Or you can also contact us directly and we'll check it.

  5. It's working :)
    My ihp gave me the correct info on the fields to fill in and it's working smooth.

    Thx, Look1st
