How to limit the number of charater in a textarea

    I have revised the code to limit single line text as advised in previous posts, but am puzzled about the text area limitation settings.

    If I apply the same to the text area code, why doesn't it perform the same?

    I'm afraid the code posted in the forum only worked for single line text, not text area.
    Text area require a bit complex modification, which involve Javascript coding.

    Yuniar can you please tell me how to limit the text area to 140 letters?
