Error updating css - permissions

    Hi, I am trying to update the css and I get this:
    "An error occured while saving
    Unable to write into CSS file. Please check your file permission."

    Ideas?

    What type of server are you on? Unix? Windows? Ensure that the webserver has full access to the data dir. On unix (Linux) systems that would be 0777.

    Thanks a lot! Safe_mode was enabled on the shared server. I asked them to switch to suphp. Worked!
