I would like to have a dropdown field with a list of names and an email field. The email field would automatically be filled in based on the name picked in the dropdown list. Is this possible? If so, how can it be accomplished?

I'm afraid that won't be possible.
Are you trying to set your form to send the result to the email selected on the dropdown?If so, you might want to check this modification:
