Download link issues (and a feature request)

(7 posts)

  1. I have searched the forums and don't see anything relating to my specific issue.

    I have created a Request For Quote form which contains a file upload field. I am also wrapping this form into my website page using the Advanced Form Code.

    The form works great, but when I get the "admin" email if we can call it that for a moment, the link is using this url:

    http://www.westpress.com//download.php?q=Zm9ybV9pZD0xJmlkPTUmZWw9ZWxlbWVudF81Mg==

    And of course fails when you click on it.

    I can download the file when I log into the administrative GUI, but I would like the link in the "admin" email to work as the notifications are going to someone else. Which brings up a feature request.

    In my RFQ form, I have a contact field which is a drop-down selection of who the user wishes to direct the RFQ to. It would be a great feature to allow MachForm to use this field to actually direct the form to. So the user only sees a drop down list of names, but the field properties in the admin portion allows us to add email addresses that MachForm would use when sending the form, much like the "Your Users" option works in the email section of the form.

  2. Hmm.. can you let me know the URL to your RFQ form? (the one which you have it embedded)

    Regarding your feature request, thank you, that is make sense indeed.
    At this moment, you can do it using some hack, more info here:

  5. There was some bug with the download link doesn't have the correct path.
    This is happened when you are using Advanced Form Code and the file is located outside your machform folder.

    A fix for this should be included for the next package release.
    Meanwhile, anyone who need the fix, please mail to: customer.service [at] appnitro.com
