Hey all,
Is there a way I could create new custom field types? I would like to be able to have one prompt with two drop down selections. Each answer could be stored as a separate column in the database. Essentially, like the simple-name field, but with drop downs. If this is possible where would I look to modify?

I'm afraid this one won't be easy to do. It requires a LOT of code modification.
Which I'm afraid I couldn't help much with it. Sorry.
However, if you only need to have two drop down selections, aligned in one line, each stored as a separate column in the database. Then you could simply use CSS.
Create two dropdown fields and align them next to each other.
