2.3 Install Problem

I installed. Everything looked great. I got the successful install message. I deleted install.php.

I go to log in and sometimes it takes the ID/password, sometimes not. When I do get in, it says "no forms created". I click to create a form and it goes back to the login page.

I get the same results with both Firefox and IE. While no script expert, I've installed a million scripts, so I don't get what's going on.

Based on some forum searching, I changed the .data paths (both of them - why two variables to the same directory???) to the "full" path to data directory. That didn't work either.

I'm a little frustrated. I hope I can get an answer today. This product looked great... I've got a lot of work to do today.

    Thanks.

  2. Hi Jeff,

That seems to be a PHP session issue. Either the session is not working properly, or the browser doesn't accept the cookies.
Some hosting company such as Powweb or iPower require you to manually configure the session.

Try to check into your website hosting control panel and see if there is any option to do this.

If the problem persist, can I login to your MachForm admin panel to check it further?
Please mail the login details to: customer.service (at) appnitro.com

Ok. Thanks to Yuniar for pointing me in the right direction. It was a problem with PHP Sessions on the server.

If anyone on here is hosting on the Rackspace Cloud, you'll need to note the following:

    http://cloudsites.rackspacecloud.com/index.php/Why_are_my_PHP_sessions_not_working%3F

Just create a .htaccess file and put it into your main "machforms" directory. It fixed everything.

Thanks again Yuniar for the quick response. Many, many thanks!
