Thank you!

Machform was updated to the latest version by Appnitro free update service!
Thank you for this brilliant service (by the way).

I set the allowed document types in the config.php.
I set the maximum filesize via .htaccess into the machform folder like this:

php_value upload_max_filesize 3M

For others:
Copy the code line and paste it in a blank text document.
Save it as "htaccess.txt" and upload it into the folder you run machform in.
Now rename the file to ".htaccess" to become a system file which is invisible in most operation systems in standard setting. If you web server allows .htaccess this file will the the maximum file size which an be uploaded to 3 Megabyte (3M). You can change it to any size you like. This limit is active for the folder you place it (e.g. /machform) and all folders within this folder). Others folders and folders in higher position are not effected by this.

Yes, I think you have incorrect permission on your directory and/or files, as pointed by Saghalie above.

Try to set the permission of your "machform" folder and all files/subfolders under that folder to 755 (CHMOD 755).

Then set the permission of your "machform/data" folder only to 777.

Try running the installer again after doing the above.

Actually, that's the default behaviour, to protect your files.
If you don't want to login to download the files, edit your download.php file, search around line 13 for this code:

require('includes/check-session.php');

simply remove that code.

This one is pretty simple actually. You only need to modify save.php file.
Let say your field name is form_creator

Search around line 82 - 91 of save.php, you should see this:

$form_input['form_id'] 			    = $form_id;
$form_input['form_name'] 			= $form_object->name;
$form_input['form_description'] 	= $form_object->description;
$form_input['form_redirect'] 		= $form_object->redirect;
$form_input['form_success_message'] = $form_object->success_message;
$form_input['form_password'] 		= $form_object->password;
$form_input['form_unique_ip'] 		= $form_object->unique_ip;
$form_input['form_captcha'] 		= $form_object->captcha;
$form_input['form_review'] 			= $form_object->review;
$form_input['form_frame_height'] 	= $form_object->frame_height;

right below those lines, add your own line:

$form_input['form_creator'] 	= $_SESSION['user_name'];

I suggest to install separate machform for each site and then use the advanced form code. That would eliminate the whole problem.

You need to purchase separate license though ;-)

Hi Rick,

Hmm, this one is a bit different.
First you need to put those dropdowns.

size #1
season #1
quantity #1
size #2
season #2
quantity #2
size #3
season #3
quantity #3

and then apply the CSS code similar as above (change the ids of course).

Or perhaps contact me through email and let me know your MachForm login.
I'll try to put up some dropdowns there, so you can modify it further.

Send to: customer.service [at] appnitro.com
or submit to: http://www.appnitro.com/support/index.php?pg=request

John,

Forbidden can mean a couple of things. One such is that you have the permissions set incorrectly on the directory. Another is that you have an .htaccess file that is not allowing you to do anything in the directory. And one last thing that I can think of is that the directory you are trying to access is empty and the server doesn't allow viewing of empty dirs (.htaccess).

Check your configuration and try again.

Hope this helps

Hi yuniar,

I think you have misunderstood my question ... I'm not having any problems with getting 'empty' fields to show on forms or printouts.

That's why I asked about the code from redityo. I see the changes relate to the section for text only emails (helper-functions.php), hence my question. It was just a curiousity thing.....

Hi

I am getting users complain of session errors which is asking them to go back and try again.

I got this when using IE 6, so i made the header changes suggested in another thread. This works fine in IE6, but now another user is still having problems with it.

Is there a fix for this? really important to get this fixed as we could lose enquiries which mean lose sales.

Hello,

I`m trying to modify the functionality of machform to include another field to the ap_form table. I saw something similar to this in the forum.

So in the edit_form.php file I add this.
if(!empty($row)){
$form->id 				= $form_id;
$form->name 			= $row['form_name'];
$form->description 		= $row['form_description'];
$form->redirect 		= $row['form_redirect'];
$form->success_message  = $row['form_success_message'];
$form->password 		= $row['form_password'];
$form->frame_height 	= $row['form_frame_height'];
$form->unique_ip 		= $row['form_unique_ip'];
$form->captcha 			= $row['form_captcha'];
$form->review 			= $row['form_review'];
$form->newfield			= _session['newfield']
}

The new field doesn't have to be entered by the user. It should come from session data and be added to every new form so I can keep track of who's creating a form. I know the function required is in javascript and the javascript is obfuscated so i'm wondering if there's a function call that I would need to add newfield to the database table ap_forms.

Can you lead in the right direction. Thank you very much for your helpo.
